Decadence Themed Tattered Lace August Challenge Inspiration

My life needs a bit more glamour at the moment and this card certainly has that lol!  The gorgeous Tattered Lace High Heel Glam is a personal favourite of mine.  Cut from black glitter card and blinged up with tiny rhinestones they look stunning and I wish I had a pair of my own, not that I could walk in them, but a girl can wish lol!

I didn't have a whole lot of black glitter card and I wanted a thin glittery border behind the flocked paper so I used a thin redline tape around the outside of the card front and liberally sprinkle on black glitter, to get a good covering a rubbed the glitter onto the tape to make sure it was stuck down well.

The beautiful flocked paper is some I bought a couple of years ago from Stampin' Up as it was retiring, I've been hoarding it and this is the first time I've cut into it, it took some doing, believe me!

I've used the Tattered Lace Westminster Collection to add accents and as a matt for the shoes with some silver mirri to add some more bling, which really sets off the black perfectly.

The stamp is embossed with Stampenous Disco Black embossing powder, which is my all time favourite embossing powder, it's fabulous for night skies and Halloween projects as well as adding a bit of sparkle to a sentiment.

I really love how this card came out, perfect for a girly get together or a BFF birthday or even a hen night invite.

Lots of Tattered lace DT Samples

Well time has run away with me again and I've been neglecting the blog but it's been a crazy couple of months.  This is just a quicky post with some of the samples I've been making for Tattered Lace.  I'll add the die numbers later as it's 2am and I'm still not finished editing stuff lol!

This first lot is using the Scruffy bow, All Laced Up and Severn dies, as always, gorgeous dies and the lovely images are from My Craft Studio Shabby Sweet CD collection, possibly my favourite MCS cd ever!

These samples were made using the new Christmas embossing folders, I got to play with the holly folder collection which is just gorgeous and I definitely need all of them!  The 3 wise men dies are part of the festive collection 2014.

I will try to edit this post later and add supplie list etc.  Next up is my trip to the Summer Crafting show hopefully :)
