Screen Sensations and CHA 2017

Hiya long time no posts!

Today I wanted to share a new, exciting and innovative product I've been testing out and making show samples for.

Work has been manic the last few months but we've been working on some amazing new products, one of which is Screen Sensation, and amazing new screen printing product that gives fantastic results and the best bit, is that it's so simple to use!

Our company took Screen Sensation to CHA, Creativation this year and I got to work on some of the samples for the stand.

This is one of the pieces, I love mixed media and altered art and had so much fun creating this piece, The owl is one of the gorgeous screen designs, printed on to black cardstock with rose gold ink, and the outer rim pattern is a beautiful grungy script screen printed onto tissue paper.  I can't wait for this to be launched!

It can be hard as the main photographer in the family to get photos of yourself and scrapping about you can feel a little vain, however, we have to remember that it's just as important to document who we are as it is to document the rest of the family.  Even more so when you have no kids.  

People think it's odd that I like to create scrapbooks when I have no children to pass them on to, however, I don't scrapbook to pass on my memories, I scrapbook so that when I'm old, I can look back and see how far I came, things we achieved, how Mark and I grew up together and grew old together.  I have a shockingly bad memory due to health issues and worry that I won't be able to remember my past as I get older so this is especially important to me.

Hi crafty peeps, today I bring you another process video!  Yes I am really getting into this whole video thing, it's quite fun and I've always loved learning new things.

The scrapbook page today is made with the Barista collection by basic Grey, I am determined I will kill this collection this week lol!  I only have a few 6 x 6 papers left and some stickers so it is possible :)

The photo is of a latte my hubby made for me, we are huge coffee addicts lol!  And I loved the way the coffee and milk had created layers in the latte cup, it was so pretty.  I just wanted to document that and it gave me an excuse to use up all those coffee related items I have been hoarding lol!

I had fun pulling out some old Bo Bunny stamps to stamp the background, I used the Stained Textures set.  With distress inks in Ground Espresso and Gathered Twigs, I added in some flair from A Flair For Buttons and some wooden hearts from Ebay.  I love the way this page came together, it was so quick and was finished in about 30 mins.
