Ok well here are my first Xmas cards, I have this week off work so I'm planning to get all my cards, table decorations and some gifts made, lol! if that happens it will be a miracle.
Theme this year is fairies & snowflakes :)
Fairies and background papers for inside of cards from My Craft Studio Walking in a winter wonderland. Baubles are glittered with Crafter's Companion iridescent glitter spray and mounted on to acetate, ribbon from Hobby Craft, glitter card from Create & Craft. snowflakes cut using Marie Anne dies, the white snowflakes were sprayed with CC stick and stay and glittered using glitterpot iridescent crystal glitter.
More Xmas cards, these are snowflake, shaker easel cards. The actual easel card was made in Sure Cuts Alot 2 by welding together 2 snowflakes, there is also a single snowflake and a snowflake with a aperture cut out to create the shaker part of the card. Fairies are again from Walking in a winter wonderland. Mounted on to silver mirri from C&C. Al sandwiched together with some Flowersoft polar white. Small snowflakes cut on Cricut, again just sprayed with CC stick n stay and glittered. Sentiments printed in MCS and cut out using the centerpoint feature on the Cricut.
A couple of projects I made using my new Cricut :)
First project using my new Cricut Create, totally awesome new toy :D and Sure Cuts Alot 2 software. Lettering and russian dolls from the Cindy Loo cartridge the pennant was an SVG file I downloaded from Paper Creativity http://papercreativity.blogspot.com/.
Tiny Prima styley paper roses, how cute are these :) Cut out on Cricut using Sure Cuts Alot 2. Rose petal shapes made from Littlemissstamper on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dumUmjFHHBQ, leaves are from a dingbat. Tutorial for making these is by Cathy @
http://www.paperphenomenon.blogspot.com/
Just cut out from C&C super smooth and coloured with Promarkers and sprayed with glimmer mist before assembling.

Autumn Fairies :)
I love this time of year, I think Autumn is my favourite season :)
Any hoo forgot to post this in my last post, here's a card I made for my Step Mums birthday which isn't while November so I'm hoping she doesn't come and have a sneaky peak lol!
Images are from the new MCS Walking in a Winter Wonderland, really gorgeous cds, I'm planning on making lots of my winter holiday cards from these cds :D
Everything else from my stash, the poem is by a poet called Celticpoet, it's a lovely poem and it fitted the theme of the card perfectly. The leaves were stamped using a versamark pad and then dusted with mica powders.
Lovely ribbons were from the candy Victoria from Blue Jelly Stampin sent me :) Thank you Victoria, the candy was fab :)

A few cards & bits I've made over the last month
Hi, been a bit busy the last few weeks but thought I'd post some stuff I've made.
Autumn gift bags for my Mum-in-law to give to friends when they go away in a couple of months time, the tutorial to make the bag is by ChicnScratch on youtube, go check out her channel here
The leaves were from Hobby Craft
Everything else from my stash
Stamp Frame is a Sizzix die
Tags cut using a Spellbinders die
Again these bags were made following ChicnSratch's tutorial
Card from stash
images from here and coloured with Promarkers
background cards were textured using Cuttlebug embossing folders, sanded and then a chalk ink pad brushed over the top.
Tags were cut from a sizzlet circle die and a spellbinders petite scallop die, all the sentiments were hand drawn so each would be individual :)
The string is good old garden string lol! from the Pound shop :D
This card and plaque were for my sisters 40th birthday and I have to say is one of my favourite things I've ever made. She is totally cat mad and has several cats, her fav being Shadow, an old and now very shabby looking black kitty lol!
The images are from Joanna Sheens Ivory Cats cd, I used the Virgo zodiac kitty because it looked like Shadow.
For the plaque I printed the cat on to acetate, sprayed the back with Crafters Companion glitter spray and then stuck it to gold mirri card with their stick n stay spray adhesive. Then added a frame and decorated with peel offs and gems. the back of the plaque was made using the matching background paper from the cd. I copied and imported the main image in to PSPXI and removed the cat and added a matching colour background. The scroll was made in PSPXI using av bro pro and eye candy xenofex filters.
The seal was a stamp I made ages ago using my ImagePac stamp kit, I embossed a piece of chipboard with several layers of gold embossing powder and pressed the stamp in while it was still hot.
The stand was made using a template from MCS Pretty in Porcelain cut out in gold mirri board and the other side was covered with matching bg paper.
I made a matching card, box and gift bag to make it look really special.

Quick card today, tried to do something different with the papers but not really my style of card at all, papers are too contempory for me and not thick enough, managed to crease them while I was sticking them down :( Not sure how I feel about this one, also used rub ons which I never use as I don't get on with them but was trying to use things that have been lying around for a while. Followed a sketch from I need a sketch. I totally love the image and wanted to use it as soon as I saw it, may end up recycling and putting it on another card lol! Entering into Cupcake Craft Challenge's 105 blue and green challenge :)
Card base centura pearl
blue and green papers freebies off Scrapbook inspirations
Rub ons are K & Co I think
Image from Arthur's Free Clipart
buttons from stash
ribbon from Joanna Sheen
Off to a wedding tomorrow so got to get my nails done today, then I have a weeks holiday yay!! Hubby back at work on Monday so I get the house to myself for a few days, hurrah! Peace and quiet lol!
Happy crafting
hugs

Blue Winter
Another challenge card, this on is for week 65 Passion for Promarkers Winter Blue challenge, I love this theme, blue is my fav colour :)
The card was a bit of an experiment, I made a couple of mistakes but we'll pretend to not notice those lol! The card can fold down to an A5 size as the side panels fold back rather than forwards and there are three nice panels to decorate on the back too. The snowy background paper is from MCS Crystal sparkles. Glitter card and mirri card from stash. The snowflakes and noel were cut from a couple of sizzlet dies and and horse is coloured with my promarkers and then given a couple of coats of CC spray and shine. Carousel horse is from Beccy's Place she has some gorgeous free images :) The little charm was made from bits and bobs I had laying around, haven't put a sentiment on the card yet cos I'm not sure who it's for lol!

The challenge is over at Cupcake Craft Challenges. They have a fun birthday blog hop going on at the mo :) Anyhoo here's the card, sorry for the crappy photo again, my camera is playing up.
House Mouse cupcake stamp from Joanna Sheen, coloured with Promarkers, I adore these stamps and am planning to have them all eventually lol! Edged using a Colorbox chalk inkpad. Gingham paper I made myself in PSPXI and the little mousey footprint paper is from the Crafters Companion Beatrix Potter Two Bad Mice CD. The sentiment was stamped and then cut out using a nestabilities die. Rose were made using a cheap pack of paper petals from hobby Craft from the bridal section, I coloured them with Promarkers then spritz them with ImagePac pearl lustre mica pigments. The heart border was punched using a XCut border and corner punch.
Hope you like :)

Green Machine
This is my second card using Promarkers, I thought it would be fun to enter a challenge to hone my skills lol! The challenge is the Passion for Promarkers Week 62 Colour challenge, the challenge was to use a predominately green theme and your Pormarkers obviously lol! Here's my attempt, something different for me.
Stamp by Crafters Companion
Plaid backing paper from Crafters Companion Mens Collection disc2
Everything else from my stash.
Coloured the car with my promarkers and distressed the papers using Tim Holts distressing inks in bundled sage, tea dye and weathered wood.
As I only have 2 green promarkers this was deffinately a challenge lol! Anyhoo it was fun to do.
Happy crafting until next time:)

New kit soon & Blog Candy ;)
Hi all, well haven't I been a lazy girl. Actually I've been super busy with the garden and work. Haven't had the time or inclination to do any crafting, however I did get the job I applied for in January but didn't actually hear from them until the end of May so it came as a bit of a surprise when they rang for an interview. Anyhoo have now settled into the new job and have time to play so a new kit is in the works. It's called Coffee & Cupcakes, here's a sneaky peek lol!
Also just a note about a fab giveaway at Passion For Promarkers. Letraset are bringing out a new range of Aqua markers, clicky on the banner at the side of the page for more details and a chance to win some awesome blog candy ;)
