Glitter Tiles Freebie Pack
I was messing around in PSP last night and made a bunch of glitter tiles so I thought I'd share then with you. I kind of went a bit over board lol!! so there are 44 different varieties, including a diamond fill and a red, white and blue. These work great for animations, I just rotated the tile in the fill properties for each frame and they also work well as tinsel too. To make tinsel garlands etc, follow the fuzzy fibres tutorial at Scrap Stuff with PSP but use the glitter fills.
I have to say I am a bit obsessed with glitter even in RL lol! I have tubs of the stuff and my hubby banned me from using it in the computer room at the old house because he ended up going to work wearing it rofl!! So I hope you like these, have fun.
Example
Tiles are 300dpi 200x200 pixels

Snowballs Alpha
This turned out cuter than I thought lol!!! I found this fantastic tutorial for making quick alpha sets at Humbug Graphics Galore. Anyhoo I hope you like it, I am going to try and actually get around to doing some actual digi scrapping today lol! If I can stop myself from faffing in PSP long enough!
Forgot to mention yesterday that this kit was inspired by some maribou baubles I made for the Xmas tree years ago, I still have them, the originals were white but I did make pink and blue ones for friends and family. The lovely fuzzy frames and snowballs were made following a tutorial at Scrap Stuff with PSP which is a really fab place for cute tutorials, go check it out, linky is in my Blog List --->
Anyhoo here's what you came for, the Snowballs Alpha, png files 300dpi.

Well I'm back!
Well we are back on the net, I haven't had my computer or access to the internet for about 3 months now. I've fixed the links to the freebies as 4Shared had deactivated my account due to inactivity so all the files were deleted. They are all back on line and should be working, let me now if you have any problems.
I haven't made any cards or done any scrapbooking since the council started modernising the house. I've had the wall between the dining room and kitchen knocked through and a new kitchen and bathroom fitted so now I have a lovely new kitchen that is fab to work in. They've also rewired the entire house and put in new central heating and a lovely fire. The noise and mess was insane and we've been living out of boxes with only a microwave to cook with for the last couple of months but it was worth it, although the whole house needs decorating now. Mark has already replastered the living room and we have managed to get that painted and laminate down in time for Christmas so I'm happy.
Anyhoo that's all for now, I may have something to share before Crimbo.

Freebie Scrap Kit DIY
Well I said I would have something on Monday but I've been preoccupied with other things, I've decided not to go back to uni next term and it was a difficult decision to come to but things haven't been going right for a while so I think it's for the best. I've been pretty down in the dumps all day and need time to get my head around it, I'll have to start thinking about getting a job now so I can pay my way :(
On a happier note here is a digiscrap kit I'd like to share with you, I used this in a previous layout and have only just got around to putting the rest of it together. Includes 6 papers, 12 elements and an alpha which includes upper case alpha, punctuation and numbers 0 to 9.
Hope you like it, have a great day.

New batch of cards
Finally got around to uploading my latest batch of cards, I'll have some more freebies on Monday probably.
I finally got around to taking my latest photos off my camera to upload lol! These four cards couldn't be more different and I tried out a couple of new things. I finally managed to make something that looks decent using watercolour pencils, I've always struggled with watercolours because I'm a bit heavy handed but I really liked the results from my new set of pencils. The other thing I've tried for the first time is FlowerSoft, the results are very effective and pretty.
Paddington card was made using a free stamp off the cover of Quick Cards magazine, he was stamped with Stazon and coloured using water colour pencils which were a bargain from Wilkinsons at 80p, yep 80p for 18. I bought them for my youngest niece so I wouldn't have to let her use my 'best' pencils. As I got the freebie stamp yesterday I thought I'd just try them and thought for that price they would be rubbish. They are excellent, better than the ones I paid almost £15 for, they are soft and blend really well so I've decided I'm keeping them just for me and I'll pick up some more for my niece lol!!
Cheetah card was made using the latest Joanna Sheen Cd set, The Jayne Netley Mayhew Collection. This set of cds is stunning, I was so excited when it arrived that I couldn't stop printing out images lol! The collection contains artwork by Jayne Netley Mayhew and is a selection of exotic and British wildlife, plants and sealife. If I was to recommend any of Joanna's cd collections I would put this at the top of the list, it really does have something for everyone.
Edwardian lady card, this card was made using FlowerSoft, it's the first time I've used it and I was quite pleased with the results, the topper is a print from the Flowersoft Edwardian Elegance collection I think.
Footy card, another footy card for my nephew Tom, letters were printed from Creatacard Gold, an old program but quite useful. The football crazy paper is one of my own designs.

Hi, well there won't be any new cards for a while, I'm inundated with uni work this term so just don't have time to play. Don't know what they think they are playing at, half of the stuff they've given us could have been done last term. I also have to choose my dissertation topic for next year and write a feasibility study eek!! Anyhoo have a good week.

Second card today, made using the Oriental kit POTD from C&C, really beautiful kit, the papers and stickers are awesome. I don't normally buy kits as such but couldn't resist this one :D
This is a large A4 sized card with an acetate front, didn't have any silk cord so had to rummage in my embroidery stuff to make some :D
